Week In Review

Welcome to our Week in Review! 

Please take the time to check the important calendar dates below and learn more about what we learned in 4th grade this week.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Winter Break! I have absolutely loved working with your kiddos for the last 4 months. The learning and growing taking place in our classroom is truly amazing. We've got a special bunch here and I'm excited to get back to work with them in January. In the meantime, enjoy your Winter Break - it's well deserved!

Home Learning

Looking for ways to help your 4th grader at home? Here's a list of activities that will help them in the classroom.
  • Read 30 minutes per night.
  • Complete 1 session of Xtra Math per night. 
  • Practice Accountable Spelling Words

Southwest Middle School on March 2-3, 2018


  • Join us for interactive family fun with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  All ages are welcome!
    • Friday, 3/2, exploration stations open from 4-8 pm
    • Saturday 3/3 exploration stations and design & building challenges open from 10 am-3pm.  
    • Special guests like Parkway’s Early Childhood Center and The Science Center will be joining us for the fun.

Last week students researched one of the Late Tribes of Missouri. Students created a presentation to teach others. Check it out below. We're still working on perfecting our Green Screen skills :)
